Put a fence top to the gate that inclines inwards. This may put him off, but they can climb, even trees :D little monsters that they are :D so keep a look out. Find him some good activity toys to play with, they love playing, this may occupy him.

Apart from an even taller gate, another thing you can do is train your dog to associate jumping the gate with a nasty experience. (not as bad as it sounds, no electricity or mouse traps involved.)

What you need to do is have someone hidden at the other side of the gate with a water gun encourage him to jump up and then have the hidden person let blast on him the minute his head reaches level, if you continue to do this, then followed with a NO he will eventually not want to jump the fence for fear of a soaking also it reiterates the word NO!

I have HPR's, and have NEVER had to use aversion therapy to stop a dog jumping a gate. They jump fences all the time. EXCEPT the ones round my garden. Which are only 3' tall. Viszlas are a bit..., how shall I say this without getting shot  .... highly strung in comparison to some. I would start teaching him TO jump. On command. That way you would be able to stop him jumping the gate by teaching him that he was only allowed to jump it when you tell him to ;)

Nightmare isn't it?  Our springer had never jumped out of the garden until the bitch next door was in season then he scaled 6' with ease.  This week a bitch in the next road is in season and we've lost him in the split second between opening the kennel and picking up car keys!  He caused damage to the begonia's in the owners house and she certainly wasn't happy

Inward sloping fences will be the only thing to stop them that will give you peace of mind.
