I've heard people talking about these - apparently you soak them in water and they stay cool for days.  I thought they might be good for my 2 OES. but where do I get them from, has anyone used them and do they work?

Any advice gratefully received.

I have some and find them useful for car journeys on hot days. However, these are fantastic if you want to create a permanent cool spot in the house for them to lie :) My Newfie loves hers an sleeps on it all year round.

They are pricey and I haven't been able to locate them in the UK so had to buy one from the US which made it even more expensive but, IMO, worth every penny :)

You can buy the ones that you have to soak here (scroll down the page)

Have a look here

they offer a great service and I bought a neck bandana for my GSD to try it out.  She seemed to get great comfort from it in the heat and it was really cool. The only thing with the mats is I think they might be a bit heavy.
