I just wanted to post a funny incident that keeps happening. On a couple of occasions both me and my husband have returned home when the phone was ringing and both my dogs have been howling at it. Any ideas?

No ideas but my gsd makes some very funny noises when the phone rings, and his half brother sings along to unchained melody, weird dogs.

my sibe is normally very very quiet, never utters a squeak until someone leaves a message on the ansaphone then he freaks out and howls the place down! perhaps it is some kind of high pitched frequncy phones give out???

I have 3 dogs but only the peke responds to the phone. And yes, she howls. We used to have a answerphone and she really hated that and howled at the message being left. Now she just howls if we dont pick up the phone when we are in and presumably when we are not there.
