I'm not sure whether posts of this kind are allowed here (if they aren' I apologise) but does anybody out there know where to get cheap  Advocate flea killer on the Internet? I've noticed several companies selling it from Australia but delivery takes too long.

There are many conterfeit drugs sold on the internet.  Some ineffectual some down right dangerous.  Most manufacturers will be happy to check batch numbers to confirm they are genuine some even have web sites that enable you to check the numbers there and then.

wow!! Thank you for that Isabel! I didn't know that! Maybe I should continue buying it "over the counter"  then!

If you can find out whether they are a bone fide supplier, possibly through the manufacturers, you should be all right.
