Topic Dog Boards / General / Buying home-made dog treats?
- By mentalcat [gb] Date 19.06.06 22:54 UTC
Hello all,

The other half has finally put his foot down about me stinking up the entire house when i'm making liver treats for the dogs.:0 :)
Does anyone have the details of anywhere where i can buy 'proper' fresh dog treats from?. I found someone who makes to order and sends out within 24 hours vacuum packed, but i've lost her details.

This lady makes lots of different flavours, and they come in a flat block which you cut up as small/big as you want, before freezing (if you want to!).

Any help greatly appreciated as ever.

Cheers  Ali :)

Thanks for these - just ordered some pilchard training treats to try!

Sure the Setter gang will love them!

*Wipes Husky Drool off the screen!*

Liver and Carrot Muffins!!!!????? :D
Think I might try out the pilchard treats too...... typical! spend all that money on my hydrator for drying out my liver, knew it would be long before I relagated it to the Garage gadget graveyard!!!
This is much easier..probably more exciting than my shrivelled offerings too :D

HG - ebay it my love!!

P.S. Wasn't actually trying them myself - but have to say some of the offerings have a rather nice sound to them don't they :p

I thought it looked pretty good value too! Especially as I'm too blooming lazy to cook anything!

Two suggestions, James wellbeloved do Lamb + rosemary treats, (ingredients only lamb and rosemary) freeze dried in tubs, and also Petproject do freeze dried pure Liver or Lamb treats. not sure of prices but website will list. Both tubs have about 18month use by date-not that they will last that long if ours are anything to go by!!!.
