I have just come back from a short week in Nuremburg where I was lucky enough to catch the England v Trinidad and Tobago game :D It was absolutely amazing to say the least. The fans were very very well behaved and the german police were very lovely (in fact every german I met was very lovely) Beckham looked fab ;) And our hotel was not far from the England Team hotel. We were lucky enough to see them arrive and got the odd wave out of the window during the evening from the likes of Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. The weather was wonderful and the german beers 'special' :D :D If anyone out there is considering visiting Germany I cannot recommend it highly enough :) Sarah
glad to hear you enjoyed your trip-lucky you! We have have had many holidays in Germany and much prefer it to France, so many lovely towns and countryside. Only drawback is the lack of a coastline, but there are some lovely lakes to enjoy.

You lucky, lucky thing. So glad you had a great time; it seems like 24/7 carnival atmosphere over there.
Germany is a great place to be - I lived in Munich for 9 months some years ago - not least of all because of the beer!
WOW...You lucky thing, of all the games so far I would have loved to have beeen there! Only thing is I prefer to 'see' the more rugged types, Becks is too much the pretty boy for me.
