Hello, this is probably a long shot but I have a 1 year old westie who I take regularly to training classes and the trainer also arranges a training walk each week. Trouble is all the other dogs are big dogs - Dobies, Rotties etc some are lovely but others are just too boisterous for a small dog although mine has plenty of spirit, and joins in with them, he is getting a bit fed up with being knocked over by the more over- exhuberant ones.

I was wondering if there was anyone with a friendly westie living in the Bournemouth, Poole or Ringwood area 's of Dorset who would like to meet up now and again for walks as my westie would love the company of a similar size dog for a change!!

Where abouts do you live, i live in Ferndown and where do you normally walk.

I live in Verwood which is near Ferndown, I work in Ferndown actually! I walk mostly in Verwood because I work during the week but I have been to Hengistbury Head and New Forest and want to find out where to go for good walks with dogs. I used to live in Verwood and there are a lot of good walks there, we are very restricted in Ferndown. What days do you work? and did you want to walk during the week or weekends.
