A posse of puffing, pasty-faced (probably pasty shaped too, if I'm anything to go by ) ladies from our village website are going to start "power walking" around the village.
Now this could be interesting - most of these people come, I think, from the new houses, so I don't know any of them from Adam - could have some cereal killers here :D - and what on earth do I wear for a "power walk"????? Shoulder pads? :D
Actually we're going to start with a slow stroll - another says she couldn't even break into a sweat, let alone a jog - so I won't be the only one, hopefully who is - shall we say - "fitness challenged?".
If it works out, it could be good - and who knows - there might even be less of me :)

Grabs the binoculars and mobile phone/camera and heads down to South Essex ..........................
We sometimes meet a group like this on our local forest path. Although, there's very little power to their walking. More of a lazy amble if you ask me  I try to avoid them generally as Lola is still a bit boisterous around people and I can just imagine the carnage if she were to go bowling through the middle of the group....dislocated hips and spilled murray mints all over the place. It wouldn't be pretty!
