Not sure of the changes so thought I'd pick your brains - a pup I've bred ( owned by someone else) has gone BP in Show at open show level does this qualify for Crufts now ? - her owner is new to showing and has not entered her at any Champ shows ( yet :D) - can anyone enlighten me or am I having senior moment !

Yes as far as I know it does,  Best Puppy In Show,  Reserve Best In Show and Best In Show

I don't think BP in Breed qualifies at Open Level - not sure about BPIS never got that!  I don't think so though.

Some premier open shows qualify BOB but not BP in Breed (as far as I know!)

Yes it does. As Lydia says, BIS, RBIS and Best Puppy in Show.
If you get the dog papers the qualification for Crufts 2007 was printed in it either last week or the week before. (sorry, i get both so can't remember which one it was) and it does state the above for qualifying. I wasn't sure til last year when I got RBIS and someone told me that would qualify him. He was already qualified beforehand but it was interesting to know.
If your friend wants absolute clarity just get them to call the kennel club to confirm, but it is true.

Hi it all depends on the shows schedule and how pups are classified some shows have special puppy classes that mean they can win BPIS but this doesnt qualify them for Crufts, so unfortunately without knowing the schedule for the show not a straight yes or no answer.
