A work colleague was sent to me for advice today as he had bought a labrador bitch pup.  She's only just 6 weeks old, parents of course weren't hip scored or health tested and needless to say, he is ill prepared for his first dog.

I'm taking my cage to work for him to borrow and a selection of books to read but what I would like to give him is an information sheet that most of the responsible breeders would send with their pups - he had nothing!

Can anyone help?

Can I suggest if he has a puter he logs on to www.helpalabrador.co.uk , www.labradorforums.co.uk or http://lrrse.12.forumer.com and I am sure he will get some really good advice and help from us seasoned Lab owners ;) :D

Can you PM me where he got the dog from just out of interest :)
