Have you tried "googling"?  I just did and read a really interesting account.  I have never experienced it.  What symptoms is your pup showing?

Heard of it in horses-well we had a pony with it, really awful :( ) - I hope not so serious in dogs? Wishing you all the luck in the world.

the vet has said it is puppy strangles ,so the pup is now on medication ,his lymph gland in his neck  are all swollen and his eyes are really bad  i am going to vets this morning again  please all keep your fingers crossed for him  thanks

It is also known as
head glands disease,
jeuvenile pyoderma,
strangles.

It's vital that the right medication is given to surppress the immune system. Then a full recovery should be made. If not the pup can get terrible permanent facial scarring. Make sure your vet is familiar with the condition, or go to a vet who is.

hi thanks for your advise i have been to the vet to day she has upped his medication to as high as she can so here is hoping she done know alot about it so i think he is good hands   thanks
