Hi

I wonder if anyone knows if Chlamydia can be contracted between dogs and cats, or dogs, cats and humans ?

Has anyone ever had a dog with Chlamydia, and if so what are the symptoms ?  Does it affect Fertility in dogs like it is supposed to in humans.?

Many thanks
Rachel

There are many forms of chlamydia, but usually each variant causes different symptoms and is species specific - feline chlamydia is not transmissible to humans. I haven't yet found any reference to canine chlamydia.

Hey
That link was just brilliant, thanks. I have read it through quickly and will take time later on to read over again.
It says 50 percent of dogs have Chlamydia.
