Anyone use this?  Thoughts please :)

Hi Lyndsay

Yes used to feed Maddie this :)
Only stopped because of the rice, but she loved it :)

Thanks Dee :)

Is it Maddie that has EPI?  What do you feed Maddie now?
- By Missie Date 06.06.06 00:08 UTC
Hi
Yes its Maddie, now she is fed raw only, chicken, white fish, any white meat really. Poor girl is intolerant to red meats, wheat, amongst other things. In fact it was the chicken that has helped her put the weight on to start with, now she is spayed its hard keeping it off her :D :D
All mine loved naturediet, nearest to raw you can get I think. The other two still get it now and again.
How's Molly?
- By Harmony Date 06.06.06 00:19 UTC
Thanks Dee

Molly really isn't very well :(  I've got so mad tonight & now I can't stop crying :(  I'm so scared for her ~ I know this may sound odd but I just know there is something really wrong with Molly.  She's very tired, her tummy is really bloated, she's obviously in some pain & she's got the most horrible, horrible smell about her.

I think from the notes I've kept, the Vets had made some big & very basic, stupid mistakes ~ the main one being the Vet told me her Amylase was normal then said it was slightly high ~ it was 4000 U/L ~ the normal value is 200-1290 U/L so it is more than slightly raised!!

There are going to be some serious fireworks at the Vets tomorrow when I speak to the Senior Vet/Partner!!

Edited to say ~ Sorry for crossing posts ~ wrists have been slapped!!

Oh lyndsay, I'm so sorry. I do know what you are going through :( Its horrible when they have setbacks. You must be so stressed out at the moment, what with puppies as well.  She's bound to be feeling a little tired after what she's been through bless.
What kind of smell is it and wheres it coming from?

Hi Dee

Just so this thread doesn't get locked I'll reply back on my post on the health board :)

Lyndsay,

(Fingers crossed for your poorly one.)

I use Naturediet Sensitive occassionally for my two dogs.  They love any Naturediet variety.   Reason I use the Sensitive is because it is one of the lower kalorie varieties though, neither have sensitive tums.

Thanks Stacey :)

I used this a couple of times but my dogs threw it up every time i gave it. So did my friends dogs. Not shur why.
Just my experience of it.

Sensitive is fish and lamb tripe.  Some dogs really do not like fish, even cooked (although even dogs that like cooked fish often have problems with raw).
- By Harmony Date 07.06.06 08:13 UTC
Absolutely!!  My lot, Molly included really aren't keen on raw fish but give them some cooked (any type) & it's gone in seconds :D
- By mollymoto [gb] Date 06.06.06 15:49 UTC
My molly loves it but i can't stand the smell of it!!! :)
- By Harmony Date 06.06.06 17:18 UTC
I've now been giving Molly some & she seems to really like it :)  I actually think it smells lovely :D
- By chrisjack Date 06.06.06 19:35 UTC
ive given my dog it when she had a sensitive stomach and she loved it!
- By mollymoto [gb] Date 07.06.06 14:17 UTC
I just couldn't take the smell but maybe I have a sensitive nose!! :) They are now having the optima gold which actually smells lovely and the girls love it. Also this was before they changed the way they cooked it so maybe that has altered it.
