Well seeing as Carmen has decided that showing will never be a thing for her (she doesn't like people touching her unless she pounces on them and asks for it :d ) I went to a gundog training class for the breed yesterday!

Well she was brilliant, if anything, the best dog there!!!  Not bad for a 10 month old who I'd only started getting her retrieve her toys a couple of weeks ago!

Didn't bother about the gun going off, retrieved brilliantly and went into all undergrowth without thinking about it for a second!!

Just wish that there was more time in the week so that I could do all of the activities.

My friend has a boy that she wanted to work and she said yesterday that she would work my girl and that I should show him, she was only joking but I took the offer up quickly :d

Looks as though I should forget about showing and do this instead.  Only problem is with all the rules and now tail docking problems too I wonder how long we will be doing gundog work as we know it?

That's great news :) I'm sure she'll do you proud as a gundog.

All this time she's been trying to tell you that she doesn't want to be primped and preened for the ring...she wants to be out in the field getting wet and mucky!! :D
