hi all just a quick question,
my girl had her last season in february but yesterday started to bleed again, have had her the vets and he says she has no infection she is 100 % healthy etc just looks like she come back into season early
She has always had a 6 month cycle until now, Is it possible for a bitch to go from a regular 6 month cycle to 4 months ?  My girl is 4 n 1/2 and had a litter of healthy pups 8 months ago. im just really confused by this so any advice much appreciated, i have seperated her from my male anyway just as a precaution as we not ready for any more puppies just yet
thankyou KwackerZ9

The same thing happened with my girl, but the season after her litter, she actually came in 3 months after the litter and had a normal season.  Luckily she hasn't come in season again so hoping that she'll go her normal 7 months this time round.

3 months after the litter would acutally be about 5 1/2 months so nerly what you would expect, unless your used to much longer :D

Meant to put 3 months after her season from having the litter :d  Even 3 month after the litter would have been quick for my girl.  Just hoping that she has a normal season this time!

yep her season after her litter was about the normal time, pups were 4 months old, so it was around the 6 month mark from when she had her season that she was mated  but she now in season again after only 4 months from her last one this is whats confusing me  she normally has her seasons every 6 months not 4  we were planning her next litter for next summer which will be her last and will be nearly 2 years from her last litter, if her seasons go to every 4 months im not sure it would be a good idea to breed her again

The chances are she will go the usual lenght or even longer for the next one.

Was she near an in season bitch recently, as that can bring them in early.

I have her daughter who is 8 months old but she hasnt come into season yet we are expecting her to do anytime now though could this be the reason for her early season ??
