Apart from 'deleting all read', is there any way of block deleting private messages?  And while I'm asking, is there a limit to the number you can keep?

If there is, I don't know how its done :rolleyes: I keep meaning to delete when I read them but never do and the result is some I want to keep, others I don't, and have to sit going through them one, by one :P
Not sure about the limit but I think they are deleted after so many weeks by admin?? But I could be wrong

Hi Missie,  Yes I have the same problem :D  Don't seem to be automatically deleted because I have some going back to December 05 .  Going through now and laboriously deleting them. :rolleyes:

:D :D just take the bull by the horns girl and delete the lot! :P :P (making a note of anything you want to keep first ;) )

Could come to that Missie, I'm going comatose already! :D  Trouble is even finding out what you want to keep means you have to read them all again!

Ah, but if you hold the mouse over them, it gives you the first few lines so you now if its worth reading again ;)

The 'Delete all read' feature for PMs is great, and certainly better than the last system (before the upgrade) where each message had to be deleted individually, but it'd be brilliant if there was a way to mark selected messages that you want to keep as 'Unread' then block-delete the rest. Anyone know if this is possible?

Yes, that's exactly what I would like JG. :)

All my PM's go through to my email (it's a choice in Options). From there I can sort and mark them however I want.
