I have pm'd you as I was interested at one point and found a couple of places - but sadly none really local to you!  Mind you a good agility club isn't easy to find locally is it!

I haven't contacted or visited as got the showing bug instead - one day I'll find time to do agility as well!!

I think Billingshurst have an agility club or there is one attached to Haywards Heath DTC at Plumpton College on Weds nights mind you there is a waiting list, not exactly local either of them I know but reasonable distances to travel. www.agilitynet.co.uk is a good place to look.

Rachel, you have to give agility a go, its soooo much fun and Setters just add to the amusement.    I do it with Fagan my older one and he loves it so much and he is actually quite good at it, we are still learning the equipment at the moment but he is so enthusiastic and does everything he is told even the dog walk and seesaw which I thought he would hate as its so narrow.  Everyone laughs because he mirrors what I do, I throw my arms in the air when he has finished so he throws his up in the air too - unfortunately tonight he ended up giving me a fat lip though

Claire! - LOL at Fagan they get sooo excited don't they - I did it many many moons ago with my now 11 year old Irish too she was fantastic not fast but sometimes she beat the collies in our club comps - cos they used to make mistakes being so keen and Sacha would go clear (slow but clear!!!)  I'll never forget at one show where OH decided to try and stand out the way (NOT) (stood all on his own with toddler in pushchair - stuck out like a sore thumb :-D) and she spotted them and made a detour half way through to say hello and then came back to finish the round - still went clear as the kind judge didn't penalise us!  Another time she did this really tricky combination of jumps in an Anything But a Collie round (others failing due to speed) the promptly did a poo!!  Which as you may know is disqualification !

Kept me fit too !  I have to say did really enjoy it - and thought Charlie one-ball might like to do it - he can jump a 4 ft fence from standstill! but then again if he spots a bird that'll be the last we see of him!! :)

Jenny - saw you got the campervan!  I looked on agilitynet too Jenny and actually there are a few that don't clash with ringcraft - just have to pursuade OH that he can manage to look after the beasties for another night whilst I go playing with the doggies!!  May see if there is one during summer holidays where the kiddies can come and have a go maybe???!!

Yes I know katie would like to do it, trouble is I can only do one on a Weds night as otherwise Im at work,or Mon nites when ringcraft closes for August.
Yep got lots of cleaning to do on the camper inside and out, and then try to work out how some of the things work, weve caravanned for years yet some of the workings of this have us stumped, lol.
I shall then get it serviced and also checked by a caravan place to check the gas system is OK as I dont want to blow myself up, !!!!!!
its a bit like driving a horsebox, shall def have to allow extra time to get to shows when we stay over, like a couple of hours extra,!!!! hee hee.

Good luck with the campervan then!!!  Good idea to avoid blowing oneself up :)

At least you won't have such an early start even if it takes you longer to get anywhere!!  You will be all chilled and raring to go I'm sure!

Must get my finger out for agility!
