Hello, Does anyone use a sewing machine?? i was just using my sewing machine and it kinda made this kerplunk noise and then needle went down and wen i tryed to turn the thingy at the side to bring the needle up it wont come up at all! im a bit worried as me and my mum are making my leavers ball dress and the leavers ball is on friday. oh dear. I don't suppose anyone would know how i can fix this problem? im a complete novice using the sewing machine i hope its something simple.

Maybe you have cotton tangled at the base of the needle bed, If you tip the top of the machine back, you can see!  If there is a tangled knot of cotton there, just cut it all away and try threading the needle again!  Or the cotton in the bobbin maybe tangled!
