hi could anyone tell me if they have had any dealings with the antibiotic called betamox..
as my dog has been given some and i have only given her one tablet and her stomach seems to be swollen and she has been sick
if anyone has had these tablets for their dog could you tell me if these symptoms will pass or should i contact the vet..

If you are concerned I would give the emergency vet a ring to put your mind at rest.
Its not one I have been prescribed so cant help.

Betamox = Amoxicillin, potential side effects = "may cause stomach upset, vomiting and diarrhea. If stomach upset occurs, try giving the medication with food. These symptoms may go away during treatment. If these symptoms continue, contact your veterinarian."

hi thanks for your reply.
it has given me some usefull information and i will try giving the tablets with her food
and see if that helps with the sickness and stomach upset.
