We're coming down to Bournemouth to have a look around and to do some shopping before we go and see the in-laws (Chris has insisted that he comes to the show with me and I have to go and see his mother :() and I was wondering who else will be there?
It'd be great to be able to say Hi to some people and put some faces to names!
Is there an unentered dogs tent at Bournemouth? I'd like to be able to leave Holly there whilst we're looking around.
Hope to see some of you on Monday :)

I'm meeting Sheila Rees with a Kooikerhondje so I'll be sure to look out for you and Gollie :)
I hope your hand is ok, mine is a lot better after getting burnt - I put honey and camomille tea on it and the burns are a lot better.
Hope to see you then,
Fiona

Hi Terri
I think Ian's going too, as long as the dogs out of season. Good luck and give Gollie a big hug from me. Can't wait to see you both at Birmingham.

gollie went to a social match last nigth and had her nose put out of place,NOT beenig place under a well know judge to us all who writes in one of the dog papers.well we all have our up and down days, but just we take it in our stride,it only a game, but she going to have a good bath tommrow, looks like she been in a hedge backward, just had a call from someone from cape town, for sdw, very nice person saying the rigth question about the breed, when he;s over there next time he;s going to come and see gollie, beacuse where he stays only 10 miles away,

Shouldn't worry about the match Briedog. We had a well known all rounder judging at a club show recently, and their BOB was a 10 year who'd never won a ticket - quite an achievement in a numerically small breed. And she missed a lot of nice, quality dogs! :D

i cannot complain about what gollies has done at shows, she done alot more wins in 4 months than my f/c put together over 6 years,

Eh, nothing wrong with an olden winning!! Seeing Dilita my dog was only allowed to show from the age of 8 I hope more people put up the oldies.
Seriously though you just never know, it's a good job that we all have different tastes or dog showing would be very boring.

When I was at the show yesterday, Saturday, I made a note of the
tent for unentered dogs was being run by the Welsh Springer Society
- the sign said £ 4.50 per day to include walks & watering.
I plan to be back at the show tomorrow afternoon to see Utility & Gundogs, groups & B.I.S.
Hound group winner was Basenji - lasts years Crufts winner
Toy group winner was Smooth coated Chihuahua

whatwas the show ground like muddy or dry.

It was very muddy in places mainly around the trade stands. The rings were soft underfoot to start with but as the day went on it started to dry up. If there was no rain there today it should be okay for monday.

I suggest on Monday you don't wear open sandals
My wellies stayed in the car - but my shoes got a little dirty on Sat.
