Hi, I have a copy of dogworldand in it I have found this show with a closing date of man 22.

I have a Tibetan terrier and they are being shown at this show.

Can I enter my dog (7 month old bitch)? do I have to have shown her before? any advice for complete novice?

Yes you can enter your puppy in this show, and no you don't need to have shown her before. Do you need help with the entry form or with choosing classes?

We'll be pleased to help. :)

There is a ringcraft training class near us so going to go to that!

If the closing date is tomorrow have i left it too late? can i phone in her entry?

It should say Entries close 22nd May 2006 (post office postmark)
So it means if you post it tommorrow it will be fine

but I don't have a form?....
- By Dawn-R Date 21.05.06 16:57 UTC
Hmm, do you have any form for any show?

You can just cross out the show details and write in the apropriate details. You will have to ring the Secretary though, to find out the class numbers.

Just make sure you post the entry tomorrow, before the last mail box collection.

Is there a class for Tibetan Terrier Puppies?
If not, you can still enter the first class for TTs regardless of whether it's a puppy class or not. Even if you don't win it, the highest placed puppy is elligible for best puppy in breed. You might also want to enter Any Variety Utility Puppy. The AV classes are usually judged after the group/puppy group, and it is etiquette, to withdraw from the AV classes if you happen to win the group/puppy group.

Let us know if we can help any more. :)

Most open shows are fairly flexible - if you get the secretary to post it tomorrow, you would get it Tuesday and if you post it back by return they will almost certainly accept it. Good luck!

does the cs at the end of title stand for companion show? if so, is it worth travelling too?
- By Dawn-R Date 21.05.06 19:28 UTC
No it means Canine Society.

You're best bet is to phone the secretary and ask for class numbers.
- By mygirl [gb] Date 21.05.06 19:34 UTC
What area do you live? maybe some of us have schedules that have TT's and are nearer you.
- By TTtatty [gb] Date 21.05.06 19:38 UTC
I am in Kent, but mum has a cottage in wisbech so that is not so far! may have to travel up in the morning though :(
- By TTtatty [gb] Date 21.05.06 19:39 UTC
will phone the number given in the morning and hope that if i send entry tomorrow that will be ok!
- By Dawn-R Date 21.05.06 19:39 UTC
You will need to ring the secretary for the class numbers, unless you can find someone with a schedule.

would it be very bad to phone tonight or is it too late in the day?
- By Dawn-R Date 21.05.06 19:43 UTC
Well, time is getting on, if you're going to do it tonight, I would do it before 9pm, or leave it till tomorrow.
