I need to find suppliers of children's riding wear - including safety helments - for small children - age 3-4 ......can anyone help????

I'm sure someone out there will whizz back with the right websites for me :D

Hi Margot,

It's best to go and get fitted at a shop as they vary so much!  I don't think I would buy safety gear online?  So a search on yellow pages for those will bring up your nearest saddlery, riding equipment shop.

Online - there is a really good one based in Littlehampton but it's name escapes me - bear with me...

I'll be back!

http://www.stockleyonline.co.uk

Stockley - they are very good and reasonably priced.  You can pick up second hand jodphurs etc. on ebay - and because they grow out - (not worn out) so quickly it's worth it.  Stockley do rubber knee length boots for around £9.99 which you can cut to size (i.e. below the knee) if too long, again great as they grow out of them so quickly!

Yes, I would go to a tack shop for a helmet for a child - fitting really needs to be done there and then.

A good site for brill equestrian stuff - and cheap - is Equestrian Clearance

I buy loads from them!

One of our localish branches of Tesco is selling riding gear and equine equipment at the moment - very strange!
