Well let my little boy got his results from his "Poo Test" today and thank goodness they were fine.  The vet has told me to bring him in next week to be weighed again and possibly talk about the TLI testing.  He has taken well to the Royal Canin and I am really feeding him up.  I am sure he is OK - no upset tummies ever !! Even though the results were fine today do you think he will still need the blood test?? He looks so well, even his coat although he is shedding his undercoat in bagfuls is so shiny.  Bless he was one year old yesterday, gone so quick.

I would say, if he is improving so much on the new food he is unlikely to have a metabolic condition so would be happy for the vet to continue monitoring if it was me.

Glad the results were favourable :)

Of course no doubt your vet has explained that a "poo test" wouldn't reveal EPI and a few days on a different diet would not alter the condition of his coat.

Hopefully whatever has been ailing him is on the mend but in view of your previous posts, his breed and his age I'd still invest the small sum required to have the TLI test done.

Good luck with him,
regards, Teri

Agree with Teri here, glad he is ok but would still get him tested :)
