My family and I are looking to get a dog. During our search we came across a Bullmastiff in the Local PDSA in Darlington Co Durham. He was all alone and I just wanted to take hime home. Realistically I realised I did not have the experience or the time to commit to such a large dog, but felt so sad he looked so alone as did all the other animals. He was very hansome and large with a lovely blue grey shinny coat. So if any out there thinks that they may be able to give him a loving home please give the PDSA a ring.

Hi, I have tried to get in touch with PDSA but they tell me there isn't one in Darlington! Only Middlesborough and they do not rehome dogs. Could you possibly have a rethink and post on the message board where he was. many thanks, not for me but have a friend who loves them!

Hi, yes it is the NCDL and I have spoken to them - he wouldn't be suitable for either me or my friend due to our situation but maybe someone out there could offer him a lovely home?? He is a Neapolitan Mastiff approx 2 years old and needs to go to a home without children or other male dogs. He has been kenneled with bitches and has been ok but it depends on the bitches basically. They would prefer him because of his sheer size to go to a home where he will be the only dog. He has quirks basically, in that he becomes very possessive and protective, but is apparently otherwise a lovely happy dog. Anybody?!
