Please would someone tell me what dose I need for an 18kg dog as I've forgotten. I'm going to put Bramble back on it, as the Green Lipped Mussel doesn't seem to be having any effect :(

Thanks

Daisy

I would have said 1000mg .
I was going to start a new thread about gluc/chon and its benefits to skin and coat problems. A friend of mine found this out by accident, she does rescue,a while ago she got a dog in with a limp but also had a dry, crap food scurfy coat, she gave the gluc/chon which helped the limp but also dramatically improved the skin and coat. Now,whenever she gets a dog with a harsh coat she puts them straight onto this, she swears by it. Has anyone also encountered this? She says you can usually notice within a week.

Not sure, I give mine Glucosamine and other stuff...but I DO give Zinc tablets as a supplement which helps their coats too...as does a good diet!! LOL

Newfiedreams,do you give the zinc with food? As i am thinking of starting my dogs on zinc and have heard never to give it on an empty stomach as it can cause nausea, have you heard of this?

Hi Hun, I give all my supplements in their dinner at tea time! Vit C, Cod Liver Oil, Glucosamine & Chondroitin, Zinc and a squeeze of Garlic paste! All the best, Dawn
