Does anyone known a barbet breeder in England or how to find one?

I thought Barbets were birds and not dogs :-)

The Asian barbets are chunky, mostly small to mid-sized, often colorful and vocal
The African barbets are colorful mid-sized to small of African tropics
A number of American barbets are scare and local, or little-known. One of those prizes is the Toucan Barbet

I have run a search and cannot find any UK breeders but perhaps someone knows different ???

Sorry there are none in England and not that many in France. They are quite a rare breed indeed. I know at one time they were wanting to put in another breed to keep up the breed.

I know that I have them, but nearest looking breeds in England are the Spanish Water Dogs and Lagotto's.

To my knoledge there is only one Barbet in the UK at the moment although I do know of the possibility of another coming in the not too distant future.
