Why do two, normally steady, well-behaved Aussie males, suddenly take it into their collective heads to trash a pack of 24 loo rolls ?:eek:

Just brought the shopping in, put away all the perishables, freezer stuff etc.   Left the large pack of loo rolls in the porch - gone back through to put them away - and behold - plastic pack open, loo rolls everywhere - some of them unrolled, some shreeded - all within 10 minutes!

And I want to know why????    They are acting all innocent - "who - what us??"  lying clamly on the floor in the sitting room.     I KNOW it was them - the girls are outside, in the kennel runs - and i any case, Beau still has a bit of loo roll stuck on his nose!

Maybe they didn't like the tone of my posting on the World Cup :D

Normally its the girls who create havoc

Aw, bad Mummy Margot blaming the boys      You've probably picked up a bag of used rolls  - or maybe you have a poltergeist????  :D :D :D

How about having 2 SWD's to go with it, they sound as though they are just as naughty as my two boys :d

Why?

To teach Mummy not to be complacent and leave things where the dogs can get them :D :D

I am having a similar problem...my 'good' dog has been playing up something shocking this week  I swear I caught him giving me the fingers just before heading for the horizon yesterday morning..... I expect it from the girlie (what is it about the girls?) but my boy!?!? I don't know what I'll do if he becomes a hooligan too

 Margot, how can you blame the boys?  Is it their fault you left the loo rolls where they could get them?  Roxy often teaches me the lesson that anything within her reach is fair game.  :D

Oh I'm sorry but I wish I could have seen that!!! :D :D :D
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 11.05.06 14:33 UTC
You can get 19 "good" loo rolls and 2 "slightly ripped" in a bin liner :D :D

That's 3 completely ruined

I suppose they'll want England shirts next

What is it about loo rolls?

My old RC girl never destroyed anything ever! But, if there was ever a loo roll in sight she would think she was the Andrex puppy and did that for all of her 12 years! :)

OOh Margot!!  Know that well!  A certain little Malinois who's normally soo sweet and innocent likes to trash loo rolls occasionally  (though she tears chunks out of them instead of unrolling) and I also get the "who me" look
Aah well, lessons to be learnt every day eh Margot!!

Merlin did this to a packet of sanitry towels that he had taken out of the carrier bag whilst i was transporting other bags into the kitchen. It made me laugh so much e specially as he had a wing stuck to his chops that he couldnt get off. At least his slobber was absorbed  It took ages to pick up the bits from all over the living room. I am laughing now whilst remembering it.

Well, you know how it is...as a kid you're bringing that freshly-baked, crusty loaf home from the bakery and it smells soooo good... but you know you shouldn't...but it smells sooooo good...and you know you're going to catch hell for it...but it smells sooooo good...and they'll get over it eventually...

Ah, the lessons of history that we never learn from.

OH Ju, I don't believe you, not that from a newfie????. Megan has destroyed everything in sight, including 3 x £20 notes, my kitchen sides have nothing on them anymore as it never stays there. Still I was warned (wasn't I )

nips managed to find a neatly wrapped new sanitary towel on the riverside path when he was a very little 'un. to my horror, he promptly saw off the wrapping in typical terrier fashion then ran around with the wretched thing dangling (unmistakeably!!) from each corner of his mouth! it's a busy path since there's a supermarket at the end of it and he entertained far more people than was necessary in my opinion!

A Newfie with expensive taste....literally!!! They are great for teaching you to be tidy

So Megan is keeping you on your toes?? :D It's a good thing I'm not the sort to say I told you so :D :D :D

The first thing Lola destroyed when she was a tiny puppy was a book entitled 'How to Have a Well Mannered Dog' so I knew that we were in for trouble from the start  :D
