Hi guest
I wonder what you see as the advantage of an unregistered 'breed' that could be anything & could have any number of health problems .These type of dogs sell for high prices and personally I would rather pay my money to a reputable breeder of pedigree dogs who has had all neccessary health checks done and researched the genetics of 'my puppy' .I know it is not a guarantee but its better than nothing.
If you think that an pedigree will have more health problems because it is inbred my experience has been the total opposite.I have 2 pedigrees from a reputable breeder from hip-scored and eye-tested lines who are completely healthy .I also have an unregistered very large staff who is often mistaken for a pit bull or american staff who at present has cost me £700+ in vets bills in the last 7 months ,is due to have another operation probably costing around £500 next week and has arthritis which will need treatment for life!! -he is only 3 years old.
