Anyone got any ideas how they are going to arrange things at Blackpool champ since they have a companion show at the same venue and on the same days?If they are going to allow all the extra dogs into the champ show think it may put me off going next year.

southern counties have a comp show at the same time as the champ show, the comp show is held outside the champ show but people attending the comp show are allowed to take their dogs in and are given a removal pass.  I dont know if it created much of a problem but to be fair most of the dogs at the comp show were breeds from other days that belonged to people who were camping there the weekend :)

That's interesting - if I'd known that I wouldn't have paid £10 for my oldest bitch to be NFC who shares a bench anyway with my other beag, but instead entered her into the companion show and got a removal pass for her.  Or is it not that simple?

its about that simple - or it was last year, things might have changed this year.

Let's face it how many people will be travelling to Blackpool and entering with just pets?   I bet most of them will be the show people especially as it's not in the most residential of areas.  I haven't entered but my friend has I might just go and do the companionship show as I really enjoy going to them normally.

Entries for the CD show aren't accepted until 12.30 so no dogs can get onto the ground until after then.
