Hi don't know if this is the one that your talking about but I did try my bitch on skinners museli mix she ate it to start with but very quickly went off it and needed alot of encouragement with lots of extra tripe mixed in!!! (even then she managed to spit out the bits she didn't like!!)
I have read on another thread that there dogs refused to eat skinners too?
Sorry not too much help but just thought that I'd let you know of my experiance with this.

I've just put mine on skinners field and trial crunchy which smells of tripe. He loves it. He's always been a fussy eater and is very lean but since he's been on skinners the weight is going on slowly.
I wont change now, i've tried the premium foods and they made him lean. Too much emphasis on 'fat dogs' me thinks!:rolleyes:

If your dogs like it and it suits them then keep to it.

Each to their own but I rate it.

thanks for the reply i wouldnt change now either MY MALE IS A FUSSY EATER AND HE LOVES IT TO I HOPE I CAN GET SOME WEIGHT(SORRY caps) on him i was feeding the field and trial duck and rice they loved it but ive chaged to the one for large breeds as it has stuff added cheers dawn

Been feeding the field and trail for about 10 years to Tibetan Mastiff's and they look great, just now and again add a bit if Nature Menu just to spice it up abit.

I have the young TM pups on Pro plan, large breed, but I think after 9 months probaly move them on to the Skinner as well.

Does anyone else use Pro Plan large breed puppy, would love to hear how they get on
