why pets only? Are the parents not good enough quality? In this case, should you even be breeding from them?

Do you realise you would be jointly responsible for the creation of these puppies. Do you know enough about the backgrouind of your dog, the temperament and health of his ancestors, or that of a prospective mate? What happens if your boys puppies get into bad hands, as a big powerful dog they can attract the wrong sort of people, who will encourage aggressive behaviour as a prop to their ego. Would you be willing to rehome them? This should not be just the bitch owners perogative, most reputable Stud dog owners will help the breeder with rehoming the offspring of their dogs. Breeding should not be undertaken lightly it carries huge responsibilities. Also any reputable breeder is unlikely to consider your dog as a suitable stud, as you have not proved him in the show ring, or any working field! If your boy is such a wonderful companion, then you did well finding a good breeder, so go back to them, and buy a puppy from their next litter!
