It appears after so many years of being blonde, even with chemical assistance  I am thicker than ever, and my judgement is well dubious to say the least.........soooooooo what is the cleverest colour to be??? Redhead........Brunette........black or just say sod it and go mousey grey??

Libs I am a natural red head but have been blond for a few years now :D

However I get moments but still go to the blond thing as I am going SO grey :eek:

So I am staying blond although doesn't suit my natural intelligence level :eek: :p

In my younger days I was always various shades of false red but I am currently dark brown with some softer highlights.  I keep reading that the lighter the better as you get older, look at Ann Widicomme  but then again...........:D
No she did look better didn't she.
I like what I've got at the mo and hubby says I look like a mink but I don't know it that means he would like me hunted down as vermin :)

Well, I've always been a natural "mouse blonde" which I've highlighted - well living in Essex :D !

However, now my hair doesn't know what colour it is, and intelligence - lets just say that the Blonde moments are coinciding all too often with the Senior Moments :(

I've always been a mousey brown with a hint of chestnut - but now, as the first few wisps of grey have set in and the chestnut has faded, I've gone a bit lighter - but NOT blonde - I'm far too intelligent for that, even if I'm an Essex Girl :D :D :D

I am naturally a very dark brunette but, with the onset of white and grey  , I decided to start colouring my hair many years ago (1st white hair found when I was 16!!) First of all I was a dyed brunette, then burgundy and, more recently, a redhead :D I vary which red though - from a really SHOCKING one to a more muted :D

Oh and I was blonde for about a year when I was 18 ;)

I am naturally dark brown and have never been blonde (I've been red/mahogany and purple  )
But I am told I should have been a blonde as I am a bit of a scatterbrain :D

I'm a sandy brown, hair dresser says a dark blonde (really I don't see that lol) :D I get my hair streaked gold (I have natural gold highlights) think Iam going to get gold and not sure what other put in my hair going to do foiling this time... I personally prefer some color in my natural but don't think I will ever dye my whole head again

My daughter is brown with red highlights, we just dyed her whole head red and her ends black, it actually looks really nice on her :)

My hair used to be the palest baby blonde until i was about 15 and then it turned a horrible mousey colour :(.  I now have light caramel and light brown highlights in the winter and in the summer go blonde.  I would love to go really dark brown, but havent got the guts to try.  I have also always wanted naturally really curly hair and used to spend a fortune on spiral perms.  I think many people want what they havent got whether its hair colour, weight, etc.

Spot on!  One of the benefits of growing older is learning to make the best of what you've got and being content with it rather than longing for what you haven't got! :D
