hi can you help my bitch is coming up for 7 soon , but recently she has been having quite a few accidents in the house that smells horrid its a realy fishy smell has anyone got any ideas what this could be? shes fine in herself  thanx mel x

Sounds as if she has a urine infection.
But best thing to do is get her down the vet first thing tomorrow morning so they can give a diagnosis and treatment. I personally would not leave this any longer than tomorrow untreated.

I agree,  my lab never soiled in the house and I came home after being out just a few hours to find a large wet patch on the carpet and it smelt awful.  I took her to the vet the next day and it was a urine infection.. I did manage to take a sample down as well.  She appeared fine within herself but I knew it had to be something else as the smell was not like a normal wee.

I would suspect a urine infection too . Also a due season  I recognise a stronger smelling urine.
