Funny in a way, yes - but where is the justice in his sentence running concurrently with his sentences for burglaries.  He effectively is not being punished for threatening the woman with a knife.

Totally agree with you there, It annoys me how these people just think they can intimidate people, as if a dog walker is going to be carrying anything of value in the firstplace.  What a complete idiot, who does he think he is .  There been a spate of that where I live which is not far from where that story originates where people's dogs have been threatened with a knife demanding cash.  I was wondering what would be a good thing to carry around i.e small can of hairspray/deep heat.
