Did anyone see the program last night about stolen dogs?  Poor Lionel Blair was on because he still hasnt got his bearded collie Florence back. Its bad enough having to deal with the death of a dog but to know that its out there somewhere must be terrible. How could you ever rest from looking?

Yes, I saw it.  I thought the part about the Siberian Husky was terrible.

It was a bit of a shame they had to drag in the Animal Psychic.  Staring into space and saying, "I think your dog is very sad, and wants to come home" didn't really seem to help.  Personally I think the owner's time would be better spent putting up posters or actually searching for their dogs.  I thought the Psychic woman was basically taking their money for nothing at a time when the owners were vulnerable.

Lionel Blair - he was so upset, and it was such a shame.  His dog was 10 years old - why would anybody steal it?

I can't tell the ages of dogs and neither can my OH.  He brought home a "puppy" that he found wandering about the park and it turned out to be 7 years old :D  Also my dog being the loony that she is makes people think she is only about a year old when she is over 2.  Anyway why do people take any dogs?

www.dogtheftaction.com is still looking for support to get the law changed to make dog theft a crime. Please support them and make a difference!

The beautiful picture they had at Crufts to raise money by raffling was won by a family from Devon.

Animal Physic ????

Bit of a con by the looks of it. Any one could have told them what she said, me included, but I dont rip people of when they are going thro a very traumatic time like that girl was.

Money should be better spent on advertising.

Very sad for the owners. My heart went out to them.Hope they have some luck.

Oh no thats terrible :( I hope they find him, have you told the owners to register on www.doglost.co.uk? Tell the local rescues/ dog wardens as they'll keep a look out and dog wardens know the local gypsy sites. Its a good idea 'to put the posters up in local shops where lots of people go in and out and dog walking routes.
My baby was stolen back in 2002 by gypsies who stole 5 other dogs. Luckily we got him back after 2 weeks and the others were re united but the pikeys still managed to steal dogs and get away with it  makes me furious.
I really hope you find lil man

I had a phone call before.1 of the pups which I bred last year has been stolen from his backgarden. His owner left him in the garden for 10 minutes whilst she nipped next door. She was talking to her neighbour at the front of the house and he was stolen from the back. They are devestated and and even more so that a few leads have led towards gypsies that are known for being trouble in that area. :( :(
