Hello all

I hope this doesn't contravene any forum rules but I need some help with a weekend away.
My husband works funny hours and funny days !! We have an unexpected few days off, starting on thursday 26th May & would need to be back on tuesday 30th May.

We have a well trained, much loved, Weimaraner who would like to take us away for the long weekend! We would ideally like to stay in the Devon, Cornwall, Dorset area. We are looking for a chalet, bungalow or apartment which is, of course, dog friendly.

Could anyone point me in the right direction to find such a location? Any help would be very much appreciated by all three of us!!

Thank you

Hi

We have booked a holiday cottage in Devon through Hoseasons for us and 2 dogs, so maybe try their website. They seem to have quite alot of choice.

There's hazelwood Chalet Park in Dawlish Warren, dog friendly, fishing lake, club, shop etc. And theres a few dog friendly caravan parks in the same area :)
In Dorset theres West Bay Park (caravans) , another one with log cabins but for the life of me can't think what its called
You could try www.farmcott.co.uk  nice cottage holidays :)

Thank you Ladies & Gentlemen for your helpful replies.

I'm sure the three of us will find a nice place to enjoy for a few days away from the details you have given to us.

Thank you again, this is such a friendly, supportive and informative site, it's members never fail to come up with the answers, no matter what the question.

Kind regards
