My 15 week old puppy has swallowed a latex surgical glove whole. This happened while the pet sitter was here and she seemeed very concerned and randg the vet who gave us their emergency number but she seems ok. Should i take her to the vet anyway? she has only eaten half her tea but she hasnt eaten it all for 3 days so dont think this is realted. What should i look out for?

I personally would ring the vet to put my mind at rest.
it hopefully will come out the other end the same way it went in :rolleyes: the concern is if it sticks to the side of the stomach etc that when the trouble starts they may say wait a day or two to see if it appears .....keep looking !!!  Oh the joys of dog ownership..LOL

She has just been horribly sick and out came the glove so thats good news! Has her appetite back and ate likea pig (after helping my clean up the mess... with her mouth...:rolleyes:)...! Was getting a bit concerned i was going to be prodding poo with a stick for the next few days! Thanks for the advice Roni

Lol no offense taken!!!!! OH has a cleaning business hence the rubber gloves... at least thats wot he says...! Sacher is fine and dandy and the rubber gloves have been moved very high up!
