Our breed club champ show have a lovely class called special newcomers. The show is helf in april, and the qualification is that the owner and handler not to have shown the breed at a Championship show prior to first of January the preceding year! so that means the owners will have been showing at most just over a year!

I am always pleased when there is a good entry in this class, as it bodes well for the breeds future to have new people coming in to the ranks.

My vote goes for *Brat* classes :D

Can I enter Floyd in that one or is it reserved for teenagers. Perhaps we could have a 'mid life crisis' class just for floyd. On second thoughts all his life has been one long mid life crisis. :D

The more I think of it the more I reckon there should be some 'novelty' classes too! How about:
Biggest hole dug in 5 minutes
Longest howl
Quickest squeaky toy destroyer
Dis-Obedience (no-heelwork, non-retrieve, crawl-on-ground stay, I'll-consider-it-recall)
We could call it the Malamute Fringe Show!

how about 'best howler or best talker', or would i be disqualified with kodi ?

Just checked how far it is... Three hours, not allowing for traffic stops etc.
I have Richmond two weeks before so it will be one or the other I guess. If she is in Season for Richmond I will go to the club show but can't do both (not enough childminders and too far to take Lauren). Who is judging it and who do I call for a schedule?
(I only got round to sending off for my membership last week )
