I have lost my voice. OH thinks its great but I am finding it very frustrating!! Feel a bit under the weather anyway but trying to make myself heard is making me feel worse. I'm sure the dogs are taking advantage too, pretending they haven't heard me when I speak to them, and looking at me like I have 2 heads when they realise, yes, I am speaking to them and yes, it is me! Have just caught Jake trying to help himself to a chew but I couldn't speak loud enough to stop him so he had a freebie. Hope it doesn't last too long. I am on a first aid course today, I can safely say no-one will want to attempt mouth to mouth!! Have a good day everyone.

I sympathise...I had a bad cold before Easter which resulted in my losing my voice ..it is SO frustrating trying to talk to someone just for them to say 'pardon' :)

If it's Laryngitis (sp?) don't even try to talk.  I had that a few years ago and I was told not to try to talk as it just exasperates the problem taking it longer to clear up.  Mine followed a bout of flu and a chest infection.

It is very frustrating !:rolleyes:

I lost my voice a few months ago and people thought it was everso funny but for some reason I didn't ! :D

I think mine lasted about 5 days and gradually came back :)

Hope you get back to normal soon ;)

I made the most of mine. :D I worked in a call centre at the time and couldn't possibly work and yet I felt fine in myself.  My voice came back within a few days too
