I know what you mean she was hysterical talking in slow motion but at least you could understand her..... when she was talking about the dogs left in cars... in depth.
We got binned not impressed by judge she was giving loads to her own stud dogs progeny 12 all in all I looked through the book when I got back and she only left one out (probably didnt turn up ..LOL I didnt even notice until it was pointed out to me..   :(

Well done to all of you that had a great day! :-)

And commiserations to those like me who drove for 3 hours to get chucked out in a class of 6!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 30.04.06 16:42 UTC
Thanks Rachel, I am his honorary grandma :d :d  Well I bred his daddy.  My friend Lynn said that he looked really nice today and she thinks that he will do well.  I love him he's got such a sparkly character !!
- By rachelsetters Date 30.04.06 17:14 UTC
Hey Granny! :) I go to ringcraft with Jenny.  I love Archieboy - moves like a dream!

He can be a wee bit cheeky for Jenny - seems he behaved himself today though - just when it counts - good boy!
- By CarolW [gb] Date 30.04.06 17:29 UTC
Yahay :-) way to go Jenny and Archie

Yes i think the lady is brilliant!! :D I though she was great last year!! :D I actually asked her where the toilets were and she said in her very posh voice 'if you havent found them by now i would have though you would be bursting!!!' :D lol! Anyhoo! We got chucked with the bitch and VHC with the dog  im still wondering why on earth we entered! I knew we wouldnt do very well with ours as she doesnt like the irish type! But ah well! I did handle in the breeders stake for the first time for someone and we won in the terriers so that was great! And really good fun! HUGE congrats to everyone who did well!!

I think it would be nice to have a new thread for every champ show so we can all say how we got on even if we didnt get placed :)

- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 30.04.06 21:23 UTC
Well done Terri. At least you were in earlier than we were last year it was about 5.00 when we went in and there were only two breeds before us with small entries!!
- By jennyb59 [gb] Date 30.04.06 22:37 UTC
Thanks everyone, Archie did behave himself today apart from the challenge for BP when he decided to bounce, but hey ho, Abby got a 3rd in PG bitch(6 in class) and Daisy got a res in Open (10 in class) with Katie handling her and she did get her going a bit, I was really pleased for her as I told her that she probably wouldnt get a place because of the class size and Daisy's lack of enthusiasum.

Bibi looked great and deserved her great success today, bless her shes such a cutie.

I might have a new addition soon !!!!!!!

So I've been told, nothing passes me :d  Did you see the Dilita lookalike?  The black and white girl???  If I could afford her I'd be there now for her but sadly I can't plus I've got enough on my plate :d  I beileve that you like the boy too :d :d

Oooh, that's the only problem with this breed, once you've got one you've got to have more :d :d

Well done on the girls places too, no mean feat seeing as we have as many dogs now in classes as some breeds do at champ shows.

Katie well done to you also!!  That's a brilliant place that you had today.  Hopefully fingers crossed I'll get to see you show later on in the year,  i've really got to pull myself together and start going to shows!!
- By jennyb59 [gb] Date 01.05.06 15:23 UTC
Yes I did see the black/white girl, I loved all the black/white girls, but its the boy I may have, the only girl left was the solid black, shame you know how I love black/whites the boy will loose some of his white I think.

Are you going to Vanessas do next weekend

Jenny
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 01.05.06 16:30 UTC
Well a boy would be of more use to you as he could be used with your girls, but a girl would be too close to Archie!!

I really, really like the black girl, I know that she's big but boy she's like Moby as a pup and I love her head.  As you say, I don't think that the black boy will have much white when he's older.

Unfortunately I'm not going to Vanessa's next week, it's my birthday!  Not really doing anything but mum and dad always like me to go there and do a special meal :d :d
- By rachelsetters Date 01.05.06 05:29 UTC
Well done Terri
- By Herbiedax [in] Date 01.05.06 12:01 UTC
Travelled for a total of 20 hours, £220 for Trains, Hotel and Taxis and had to leave before the class to get the train back home!!!! How mad is that
- By AlisonGold [gb] Date 01.05.06 13:07 UTC
I've posted wrongly, so some may see this twice.  My GR girl gained her final points for her Junior Warrant by winning Junior and Yearling and then went on to take 3rd in Graduate.  My first JW winner and I bred her myself and also bred her mother. I am like a dog with two tails.
- By Dill [gb] Date 01.05.06 14:51 UTC
Woo hoo well done you :D

Well done everyone who had a placing :D :D

I got reserve in the PGB with my homebred bitch, very strong class.  I  found the ring too small and a few of us thought we'd break an ankle or take a dive while going round it :(  so my bitch didn't go really well as I was trying not to fall over   Every year I say never again, but it's the closest show we have so....
- By Missie Date 01.05.06 15:10 UTC
Congratulations to everyone who got placed :)
Molly managed a 5th and I was quite pleased with how she behaved :)
Should have taken her to Banbury today, but somehow managed to forget I had entered her  Didn't realise till I got my catalogue and saw her name
Hopefully I will remember to take her to Stafford :P
- By AlisonGold [gb] Date 01.05.06 16:20 UTC
Looks like quite a lot of us had a good day.  Well done everyone.  To all who didn't do so well, we all take the best dog home.
- By valhav [gb] Date 01.05.06 19:23 UTC
Well done M he's a nice boy and deserves it.  Can't keep my boy in coat long enough to show him.

Paula
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 01.05.06 19:59 UTC
We know that problem with the sable boy Paula, he's never having another bath - we will get him to shows, dirty or not LOL.

Thanks.  There's no better feeling than coming out of the ring knowing your dog has given his/her best.  Even better when they get placed:cool:
