Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Handler

I am handling a dog for someone but would like some recognition for it. I am not bothered about a partnership but would like her to be entered at shows as "Handled By".

Can someone please tell me how to do this on an entry form & can it also be done for online entries?

Thanks in anticipation

In the name and address part put <your name> handling for <owners name>

If you are handling at a benched show this will also mean the dogs is benched under your name (and with your own dogs if you have any)

I did this with a bitch I bred and handled for ehr owner, but it used to become such a mess, with the wrong ownership often attributed that I stopped doing it just ahd her entered under the owners name.  Fortunately my surname and ehrs are only one letter apart in a numercally small breed so it didn't cause too much trouble with benching.

I was told by the Kennel Club that you just put in the next bit of the form under the dogs name Handled By and then your name.  The only thing is that they will bench the dog under your name not the owners. However if you are friends then it is nice to be next to each other and be able to watch each others benches.
