Well it was quite nice yesterday!!!!

With summer coming, christmas gone and the laziness of me gone I've decided I need to get my body into a slighlty better shape....But there's no way I could stick to a diet!  Although I'm running 5KM 3-4 times a week I feel I also need to do some toning, don't really want to go to a gym, there's something about them I don't like so has anyone any idea's on what I can do at home apart from the normal sit-ups etc that I can not work up the enthusiasm to do!

I'm sure some of you have idea's

Thanks

trysome of your own home exercise machines. A rower is good, as is the rider. you do it indoors or out, they fold up easy and take little space. Cycling is good also, would go with your running?

Yoga and Pilates are very good for tonning. If you don't want to go to classes then you can get a dvd do it in your home.

You can do a lot with some dumbells. I find weights more fun than the etc.. you never get away from sit-ups if you want fab abs though. :-( Good luck, will you some for me..

If its your bum, tum and thighs you want toning up, lunges and squats and plenty of them (about 50 of each every day, but not to start off with)  works fab for me! Although im on an exercise break at the mo! :) Appart from walking that is (which by the way is a toning method although not as effective :D But in 6 months time, il be back to it all again :D
