Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Suppliers of Royan Canin Vet Range
- By Dude Dog [gb] Date 25.04.06 14:56 UTC
Hi

A dog belonging to a friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with a pancreatic deficiency and been placed onto the Royal Canin Veterinary Range - Low fat, easy digestion tinned food.

Does anybody know of a supplier that deals with this food instead of buying it from the vets on a regular basis at £1 per tin?  Do Royal Canin deal directly with the public?  Any ideas?

Try this site:

www.animalmedicines.co.uk

My bitch is on the prescription osteo and digest dry food by Royal Canin, and on the tinned formula you mention, which was prescibed by our vet after she had a bad reaction to Burns feed and has been left with food sensitivity. I found as long as you order more than one bag/pack of the prescription foods, it makes the postage worthwhile and still saves money on the vets prices. It is still expensive, but to be honest you are not going to get it for anything cheaper than £1 per can (or if you can you will have to let me know!)
See what you think of the prices on that site though. As I said, if I order a few at a time, even with postage it works out cheaper for me than at the vets.
I hope that helps x
