OK Leigh, here's another for you. Held at Ragley Hall last year (Aug Bank Holiday weekend) if I remember. Can't find any info for it this year, anybody know if I've missed it. Shame if I have as Afghan won dog most like it's owner there last year and westie came last in agility (peed in the tunnel and refused to come out)
At least if I haven't missed it I can take a proper Gun dog this year. (Proper in looks, not intelligence or ability)
:D

Lisa, just heard on radio WM this mornig that the "Town and Country" show is going to be held at Stonley agricultural centre this weekend, - I went to one there a couple of years back and it was great, - but I'm not sure if this weekends show is the same one that we went to, I'll try and check out what will be going on there and if I find out I'll let you know.

Isn't there another game fair on in Telford this weekend. Just don't fancy another weekend of decorating (yes I know I'm moving in 2 weeks but the lab has now decided she'll strip the wallpaper and eat the Kitchen) Think it might be the Shropshire Game Fair at Chetwynd Park. Can't do both, anyone been to Shropshire before. Failing that might try the NAC

There is an exemption show being help at the town and country again this year, i cant remember what day it is on but i think it is the sunday (as Leamington DTC are holding theres on the mon), The judge is Jean Selby (cocker spaniels) and she is doing both pedigree and novelty (Jean is helping at the leamington exemption which is why they cant be on the same day!)

The Town & Country is a really good event. If you are going take good walking shoes, it's BIG.
Saturday is childrens day !,
If you go Sunday and see a handsome, ;) , devil struggling under the weight of 18 tons of camera equipment, come and say Hi.
On a more serious note, do you think it would be too busy to take Gem to? As long as I keep her out of any confined areas etc.

Might try that one this weekend. I'll be the idiot trying to pretend the Lab is a great retreiver and the afghan is an excellant pointer!

If we go it'll be on a Sunday (have to set to work on the chaufeur -(hubby)) I'll look out for you and your equipment Alan LOL!!!!

You're on mate;) I'll see if I can find a bowler hat to wear too! - hope you enjoy it too - there's so much to see there you'd need the three days to get around it all (especially with all that equipment you're bringing - just don't ask me to be your caddy!)

If it rains I'm not going - the only thing worse than a wet Afghan is Harry C in a thong!

The soggy Midlands is a far cry from the beautiful south (mores the pity), oh Lisa the thought of Harry in a "G" makes me go all goosepimply!!! - we'll have to start calling him "Harry G" LOL and get him some Ali G glasses too!

I've got mixed feelings, rain is gpood cos it keeps the crowds away.
Sun is good cos the traders do some business and the photography is easier.
Still I'll pack Mae Wests just in case :)
Leigh,
I guess they just haven't been told in the right way. I could volunteer for that job!!
I won't say what I'd do, cos you guys are too polite and easily shocked. ;)
Don't you get too sunburned down there.

If your going to the town and country you need to leave plenty of time to que, because they tend to build up increadibly quickly round the nac during the major shows, how do i know - we live 5 minutes away in leamington so we regularly have to que to get out of the town and at the moment im house sitting in coventry the otherside of the nac so for the next 3/4 days we will have great fun getting between the 2 houses - instead of 10 minutes its more likely to be an hour!!!!
