Hi everyone my lab is 1 year old and has been in heat for 8 days, She was fine before we went to bed lastnight and today when i let her out in the yard she threw up 3 times some white foamy liquid.
She does not want her food or treats she does not seem herself, Usually she is very lively, bouncing and in ya face so to speak but today no she not interested in anything.
She has not eaten anything she shouldnt have, has not chewed up or eaten any of her toys...
The only thing she has had for the past 3days is Kennel Cough Nosodes which she gets 1 a day, I have not given her one today with her throwing up, she has been fine up until now.
Any suggestions at what could be wrong..
Thanks in advance

I'm hoping your bitch is now well again - presumably you took her to the vet? Was it anything serious? A reaction to the kennel cough vaccine (I am very skeptical about it, there are so many strains and its not a pleasant thing to administer)?

Hi Di,
I think the homeopathic nosodes were used.

Oh right, ok, and thats not a forced up the nose thingy? Are they proving to be effective do you know?

Hiya sorry i not been back to you, We found out what the problem was.
I scrubbed out my back yard and then rinsed it down with a disinfectant and without me knowing she had decided to taste the water well this caused her to have an upset stomach.
Vet says nothing to worry about since she started eating again around 3pm and was no longer throwing up, she also mentioned because she is in heat this has added extra strain to her body...
The nosodes i used were to prevent kennel cough but she already had a bad cough well after 3days of taking them her cough stopped and has totally gone.
I am not usually a person into homeopathic remedies but thought i would give it a try and i am amazed. The shop is run by homeopathic vets and has great reviews.
They do alsorts of things for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits.
Thanks for everyones concern and advice.
