Whats happened to Spring

Am still cuddled in my cardigan and making maximum use of the electric blanket and bed socks

It's just not right is it. We've had glorious weather up here the last couple of days. Yesterday and the day before I was out for nearly four hours with the dogs, just walking and playing around in the sun. Now I'm off work for 4 days and it's bucketing down and freezing cold - the price you pay to live in Scotland I suppose

My plum trees have all come into flower so it is defiantely ehre albeit not very warm and a biting wind.

I am a bit cold as well but have got every window and door open due to my drain problems
It has also been tipping it down wirh rain.

I've just switched the central heating back ON! :(

To be honest Marianne, don't think I ever switched my heating off  :D
The only thing 'springy' i have noticed are the flies and bumble bees which annoy the hell out of me when i am walking by the river!!! i must look absolutely demented walking along flapping my arms to keep all the bees and midgies at bay :).
Hi Lib :-)
How are you this fine spring day ;-)
Am fine justlou.........just chuffin freezin:rolleyes: feels more like November here
We've got the heating on at work but It's very warm & clammy here at the minute.
Same here.....I've just turned the heating up :-)

I've got my windows open and heating off!!

Hardy Nordics in this house!! :P
It'll be soon rectified when the "shandy swilling Southerner" (OH) returns from work tho'!! :P ;)
when do the BlueBells come out???
(Im looking forward to some photo oppurtunities, as Ive seen Brainless's gorgeous pics of the Elk Hunds in Bluebells..just gorgeous..if Storm will stay put long enough!!)
Its usually May for the Bluebells, but they might be late this year as its been so cold:rolleyes: I'd love to get a good piccie of libby in our Bluebell wood.......well ours as in much local........not my own :)
I know spring is on the way when the mosquitos come out! We live by a lake and get eaten alive in the summer months. I saw one in the bedroom during the sunny weather a week or so ago, forgot about it and woke up the next morning with a big bite on my arm

It's not bad here in the North West today, spitting with rain a bit earlier but sunny now :) and I only needed a light jacket out and about.
You hardy Northerner Isabel, I must of been living down 'souf' too long now

Hear, hear to JG's comments specially to the Twerp who wants country.........but in the town
The plumber's bill
is a lot of money but I would be actually quite pleased if that is all my waterworks woes came to
Cold Champdoggers..........it must be 'mulled wine' o'clock then ;)

When I was selling my flat many years ago, a couple turned up without the estate agent telling me in advance and my place was a tip and they were the ones who bought it! :)

Lets hope we are as lucky as need some good news :D :D
At least they didn't see the mess outside as well where the drain had been opened as they were too busy looking at the girls saying well we are hoping to get a black Lab puppy but your two are so nice so maybe a chocolate :D :D
And after all, it was their 2nd viewing so they must have liked it enough the first time to want to come back. Well done doggies - good diversionary tactics! :D

I just have had it today really I am going to sob quietly in a corner now  :D
