Hi all,
Just need a bit of reassurance really as i don't know what is going on! Blade is at the vets as I Type and has been since 8am this morning. Now he was very tired and lethargic yesterday especially nearer the later part of the day. He has had a very busy week so we just assumed that he was playing catch me up with sleep. Now this morning when I get up he couldn't even lift his head so didn't know what was wrong, he was boiling hot and shaking like a leaf.
He also hasn't been sick or any diarhoea so really at a loss.
So far since he has been at the vets he has had various tests and x rays done and nothing is showing up  they just don't know what is wrong with him and he keeps going up and down. He hasn't eaten since yesterday which is unlike him (usually very good at eating!) And I know that he hasn't eaten any easter eggs so can't be that. I just need some ideas as to what it could be as the vets are now running out of clues and i am out of ideas.... Please help my poor baby he is so poorly

Hi Husky,
Storm is fine, infact they have been together for the last 5 days as we were away, but came back on Sat and he was fine. Just yesterday he was off colour but was just assuming he was knackered after the last few days. I just feel so helpless as I have run out of ideas. We did go to the beach and that but he was on lead for most of it and didn't roam far as it was a strange place for him.... I am just all out of ideas!!
I will keep you posted as to what is happening, they are going to do more xrays and maybe scan him later to see if that throws up anything. We are just lost as to why he has a high temperature and no other signs (apart from tired and lethargic.)
Will keep you posted anyway
thanks for the kind words

Blade seems to have perked up a bit, have had a phone call from the vet and she said that he has eaten and that his temperature has gone down. So all good news so far. If he continues to be well tomorrow morning then he should be home!! They are still none the wiser as to what has caused all of this, but I am pleased he is heading in the right direction :-) Thanks for all your support, it is nice to come here to talk about these things as my friends think I am mad (no dogs of their own!!)

will let you know how things go, hopefully I should have my big baby back tomorrow :-)

Just to let you all know that he is home safe and sound and curled up in front of the radiator sleeping... I can't beleive the difference in him, it is amazing. They were begging me to go and get him this morning at 8 am as he was howling so much :-D I'm sure he should have been a husky
Thanks for all your thoughts
