Miniature Shih Tzu? I am fairly sure they come in a standard siz only (allowing for individual variations of course)

You are correct about the UK Gwen, there is only one size. In the US, unfortunately, they breed an Imperial, which is a tiny Shih Tzu. :( I would hate to see that practice spread here.

The US seem to have a thing about breeding very very small dogs, strange really, I've always thought of the states as the founders of 'Bigger is Better' perhaps it only applies to burgers. To all our friends from the US of A, only joking honist :D Ja:Dkie

No offence taken Jackie! :) One of the better qualities we have as a people is that we are always looking to improve things. Can something go faster, higher, louder, quieter? You get the idea. As a capitalist country, we also look at the demand for things. If there is a demand for a bigger/smaller/different colored version of a good thing, we'll probably be the first to produce it. Good, bad or otherwise!
