from an advice forum

Assuming you have tried all the virus scanning and spyware removing programs fully updated, your best bet is to try and manually remove it. Go into safe mode and search for any file named spyfader and delete it. Now goto the run command and type regedit. In the regedit search functions, type in spyfader and delete any entries that come up with it. After you're done, research the registry to make sure no other entries exist.................

If you're uncomfortible with editing the registry, I suggest you try the startup control panel tool. (Link Below) With it you can unclick programs you do not want loaded at startup. That may or may not help depending on how spyfader is getting loaded. My guess is it's embedded into Internet Explorer somehow.

try spybot search and destroy.
I had the same spyware on my pc and spybot S&D removed it.

Also, use firefox in furture, IE is far too open to exploitation

Microsoft have a free spyware removal tool that does a good job. It's called Defender. There is a link of the home page of microsoft.com. There are other free spyware removal tools but you have to be careful as there are a lot of pretenders out there that are malware and end up putting even more stuff on your system.

And Firefox has its security holes as well. Our IT manager at work says it's also full of holes and you have to keep current with updates for it. I'm not knocking it, just passing along the advice. There's no escape from the bad hackers.
