My mums neighbour gave me an envelope the other day with a bank card in it issued jan 1996 - apparently I gave it to him for safe keeping to stop me spending.

I totally forgot that the account even existed so am now waiting to hear whats in it!!! Might be good news!

Goodness, JG that's dreadful :( Both of mine had the hard sell when they signed up for their student accounts, but there was no compulsion to have a c/card :(
